Patricia A. Bazar's Obituary
Patricia A. Bazar, age 75, of Amherst passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Mercy Life Hospice Center. She was born on December 22, 1945 in Lorain, Ohio to Anthony and Madeline (nee Nolfi) Cocuzzi.
She was a 1963 graduate of Admiral King High School. Upon her graduation she went on to further her education at Kent State University where she earned, her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in 1967. Patricia worked as a Certified Public Accountant retiring, after 10 years to raise her children.
Patricia was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst. She enjoyed Tai Chi, traveling, classical music concerts, and was a huge fan of the Cleveland Indians. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Andrew J. Bazar; children, Kelly (Jason) Baker, of North Olmsted, and Michael (Taylor) Bazar, of Grafton; and her brothers, David (Kathy) Cocuzzi, of Columbus, and Roland (Angel) Cocuzzi, of Phoenix, AZ
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Madeline Cocuzzi.
The family suggest contributions be made in memory of Patricia to the University Hospital Cancer Research Department, University Hospital Institutional Relations & Development P.O. Box 94554, Cleveland, OH 44101.
A private family Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst. Rev. Father Timothy O’Connor, Pastor, officiated. Interment was held at Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
