Patricia A. Bennett's Obituary
Patricia A. Bennett (nee Lewis), age 75, of Vermilion, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain.
She was born on December 9, 1942 in Wilkensburg, PA and has lived most of her life in the Lorain area, graduating from Lorain High School in 1963. She worked for Lorain National Bank and for First Federal Savings and Loan for some time and had also worked for Dr. Bentz and for Dr. Kolczun. Before retiring at the age of 72, Patricia dedicated 10 years of providing home health care for those in need.
One of Patricia’s greatest passions in life was spending time with her beloved grandchildren; Sydney, Gabrielle, Adam, Aaron, Christopher, Brandon, Albert, and Morgan. She also liked to travel, try her luck at gambling, and listening to country music.
Patricia will be missed dearly by her loving husband of 19 years, Edward J. Bennett, children; John G. Olsavsky, of Alexandria, VA, and Pamela A. (Mark) Black, of Pickerington, OH, her step-children; Cynthia Bennett, of Amherst, and John E. (Shannon) Bennett, of Vermilion, her grandchildren; Sydney E. Black, Gabrielle M. Black, Adam J. Black, and Aaron M. Black, all of Pickerington, OH, Christopher Arroyo, of Arlington, VA, Brandon Arroyo, of Cleveland, Albert Arroyo, of Amherst, and Morgan E. Bennett, of Vermilion, her brother, Richard (Marie) Lewis, of Omaha, NE, and her sister, Dolores Eileen (Pete) Cikalo, of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her parents; DeWilda Lemon and Jeanette Grace (nee Lynn) Lewis, and her brother, Robert Lewis.
The family will receive friends for Patricia’s graveside service on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at 11:00 am, at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
