Patricia Ann Billick's Obituary
Patricia Ann Billick, age 79, of Amherst, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in South Carolina on September 18, 2025, with her son, daughter, and grandchildren by her side.
Pat was born on June 21, 1946, to George and Angeline (Kozjan) Voytko in Lorain, Ohio. She married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, David Michael Billick, on October 12, 1968. They enjoyed 55 years of marriage, had two children, and four grandchildren. Patricia was a dedicated wife and mother who cherished her family, her home, her faith, and her career.
She graduated from Admiral King High School in 1964 as a member of the National Honor Society. After graduation, she began her career in payroll at Timms Spring Company in Elyria. With her natural sense of style and strong interpersonal skills, Pat thrived as a Mary Kay Cosmetics Consultant. Pat transitioned to catering services, beginning her work at German's Villa, then moving to Lorain Community College. She spent 15 years with Bon Appétit Management at Oberlin College, progressing through several roles before becoming Catering Director, retiring in 2016.
Pat's most significant accomplishment and source of pride was her family. She cherished the annual sister’s vacations at Hilton Head Island and valued every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. She dedicated herself to creating lasting memories and traditions, particularly during the holidays, with Christmas holding special significance. In honor of her Slovenian and Slovak heritage, she prepared homemade pagach and pierogi for Christmas Eve dinner.
She will always be remembered for her kind and helpful attitude, as well as her dedication to making others' lives easier. No sacrifice was too great, and no favor was too large; she always exceeded expectations. Pat was courteous and respectful to everyone. She had an innate ability to see the good in every situation and treated everyone with kindness and understanding.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband. She is survived by her son, Jason Billick (Ernand) of California; her daughter, Amy Berg (Carl) of South Carolina; and her dearly beloved grandchildren: Justin (Hannah, fiancée), Griffin, Vanessa, and Vivian.
