Patricia A. Callender-Rushton's Obituary
Patricia A. Callender-Rushton (nee Sukel), age 61, of Lorain, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Lakewood Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born on August 31, 1952 in Lorain, she lived most of her life in Amherst and Lorain. She graduated from Marion L. Steele High School in 1970.
She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Donald Rushton; her sons, Justin Callender, of Lorain and Jonathan Callender, of Norfolk, VA; her daughters, Christie Patrick, of Marion, Ohio, Shawn Tallarino, of Lorain; and her step-daughter, Nicole Shinsky, of Sheffield Lake; her granddaughter, Ashley Gaydosh; 3 step-grandchildren; her brothers, James Sukel, of Lorain and Gerald Sukel, of Illinois; and her sister, Jane Chawansky, of Louisville, Kentucky.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Dorothy (nee Hassel) Sukel; and her brothers, Philip and Ronald Sukel.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 12-4 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst.
