As Aunt Pat told her granddaughter, there will always be a little piece of her left for us to
remember her by. She was a very special person whom will always be remembered fondly by our family. Years ago as the Daub Family grew, she openly welcomed new members into the family. As a young boy, Marty remembers the Daub house as a fun place to hang out with his cousins since Aunt Pat made it so.
We will be unable to attend the service/mass because of COVID-19. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

We are so very sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. May your many memories of her serve as a source of warmth and comfort to you during this difficult time.
Deepest sympathies to the Daub family. My parents, Bob and Millie Burgett, were very good friends of Pat and Leonard's- since before my parents were married in 1947 (Pat and Leonard stood up for my parents at their wedding, and 25 years later hosted an anniversary party for them). They always had such a good time together, and now they're all together again. I'm very sorry for your loss.
Once upon a time I was driving my grandma home from some family event (she never learned to drive) we were talking about my grandpa (who had passed away) and their years together. My grandma said this to me.. You know, your grandpa and I will never be gone.. we left the little pieces of ourselves in the world in all of you (meaning her sons and grandkids and great-grandkids and all the ones that are still to come). My grandma left us yesterday to be with my grandpa. She will be dearly missed, but she will never be truly gone.
