Patricia Ann O'Keefe's Obituary
If you are reading this, it means I have gone home to our Heavenly Father. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018 and put up a great fight. This terrible disease is no stranger to my family, as most of you know. It’s a battle worth fighting always, please pray for a cure. Laughter was a catalyst that kept me going in my life, please make sure there is plenty of it at my funeral. Please remember I’ll be smiling down and waiting for the punchline.
I was born in Lorain on October 25, 1956. I graduated from Lorain Catholic High School in 1974. I then worked as a legal secretary for 34 years for Attorney Phillip P. Taylor. When he retired, I went on to work at Goulardis in Lorain, Cracker Barrel in Sheffield and as a dispatcher for Safe and Reliable Limo Service.
I leave behind a large family including my daughter, Amanda O’Keefe, of Cleveland; my beloved grandson, Michael Cuevas along with his new wife, Hailey (Blankenship); siblings, Dennis (Cindy) O’Keefe, Debi O’Keefe, Michael (Lynnette) O’Keefe, and Diane (Brian) Weber; and many nieces and nephews whom I’ve passed my great wisdom down upon. I want to thank the special friends I have reconnected with from high school. Your presence and love made my life better. You know who you are. Much love and laughter, Patricia Ann O’Keefe.
