Patricia Romot's Obituary
Patricia Romot, age 83, a resident of Lorain, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Amherst Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on March 21, 1935, in Lorain, Ohio, to Steve and Ellen Mrosko and was a 1953 graduate of Lorain High School.
After graduating from high school, Patricia worked a few years at the Lorain Morning Journal in the editing department.
Patricia loved reading and had quite the collection of books. She also enjoyed boating with her husband and family. She devoted herself to her husband, children, and grandchildren, as they were everything to her.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Frank Romot; sons, Scott (Kim) Romot, of Florida, and Tim (Rose) Romot, of Texas; daughter, Michelle (Jim) Tucker, of Ohio; grandchildren, Sara Parkinson, Heather Romot, Michael Romot, Stephanie Champo, Ashley Harper, and Kyle Tucker; great-grandchild, Taylor Parkinson.
Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Mark Romot; and her parents, Steve and Ellen Mrosko.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, OH 44001. Private family interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
