Paul Sherman's Obituary
Paul Sherman, age 57, of North Ridgeville, passed away after a lengthy illness on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at University Hospital in Cleveland.
He was born on June 27, 1963 in Cleveland and grew up in Brookpark. He graduated from Midpark High School and then graduated from Muskingum University with his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Paul worked at Hoya Holdings for the past 15 years as a lab manager. He is a member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church in North Ridgeville. Paul enjoyed being involved in the Boy Scouts with his son and loved going camping with his family. He was also an avid Cleveland sports fan.
Paul is survived by his wife of 21 years, Colleen A. (nee Kelley), his children; Sydney & Benjamin Sherman, his siblings; George, of Lorain, sister-in-law, Tina, Kenneth (Sherry), of NC, Dale, of Valley City, Theresa, sister-in-law, Gina, and all of his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; George and Maryann (nee Niznik) Sherman, and a brother, Timothy.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 21st, from 4 -7 pm, in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Paul’s Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, at 11:00 am, at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 5500 Lear Nagle Road, North Ridgeville, Ohio 44039. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. The Rev. Fr. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the funeral home will be following specific guidelines to ensure the safety of all visitors. We ask that you enter through our main entrance of the funeral center, please pay your respects to the family, and exit through our gathering center door. Face coverings are required, limited seating will be provided for the service to ensure that a six feet separation is maintained.
