Paul Uehlein's Obituary
Paul A. Uehlein, age 67, of Vermilion, passed away, Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Kingston of Vermilion after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Uehlein was born on October 28, 1943 in Lorain, Ohio to the late Allen J. and Dorothy (nee Wells) Uehlein. Paul graduated from Amherst Marion L. Steel High School and served in the Ohio National Guard.
Paul was the former owner of Paul’s Tack Room in Amherst. He enjoyed relaxing and spending time at his cabin in Cooks Forest, Pennsylvania for over 30 years hunting and spending time in the woods and enjoying nature. Paul volunteered his time taking care of the flowers in Downtown Vermilion.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey B. Uehlein, of Sheffield Lake; daughter, Melissa (Jason) Kowal, of Vermilion; grandchildren, Brandon Uehlein, Nicholas Kowal and Alexandrea Kowal.
Memorial contributions made be made in honor of Paul to New Life Hospice, 5255 North Abbe Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035.
