Paul Arthur Ursic's Obituary
Paul Ursic, 73, of Lorain, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 29, 1952, in Lorain to the late Arthur and Elsie (Fedor) Ursic. Paul was a lifelong resident and a proud graduate of Admiral King High School. He honorably served his country in the United States Army and carried that same sense of dedication and pride into every aspect of his life.
Paul devoted 47½ years of hard work to the US Steel Mill and was a member of Local 1104, in Lorain, a testament to his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment. He was a longtime member of the Croatian Club, where he especially enjoyed spending Friday evenings with friends, sharing stories and laughter. In his free time, Paul loved being out on the water boating and walleye fishing, finding both relaxation and joy in those quiet moments. He took great pride in caring for his home and yard, always keeping them immaculate, and he had a fond appreciation for fast, beautiful cars. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cherished time spent with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Ursic of 38 years; his loving daughter, Amanda Los (David Mendiola); stepdaughter, Robin Pannell; cherished grandchildren, Cory, Cassie, Samantha, Caitlin, and Alexis; treasured great-grandchildren, Alaina, Rylen, P.J., Elissa, Kenzee, Hope, Jaycee, Riley, Abi, Maelynn, Masyn, Landyn, Jaymion, Kaidyn, and Ethan; and siblings, Karen Eppley (Wayne), Dale Ursic (Linda), and Joanie Naber (Berney).
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his stepdaughters, Melissa and Melinda Pannell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Dovin & Reber Jones Funeral and Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, Ohio 44001.
