Pauline Newsome's Obituary
Pauline Newsome, age 74, born on May 15, 1946 in Floyd County, Kentucky passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 due to complications from COVID.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She loved to travel and spend time with her family.
Pauline is survived by her children, Sondra (Mike) Bruce, Lolita (Dave) Watring, and Gregory (Monica) Newsome; grandchildren, Amber (Dan) Kraft, Shaun (Crystal) Bruce, Craig Watring, Trevor Watring, Xander Newsome, Alexia Kraft, Logan Kraft, Nova Bruce, and Jaxon Kraft; sisters, Billie Faye Finnetzer, Loretta Reynolds, and Mabel Martin; and her brother, Ronnie Reynolds.
She was preceded in death by her loving Husband, James; parents, Walter and Nannie Reynolds; stepmother, Edith Reynolds; brothers, Charles, Emmitt, Danny, Larry, Wendell, Glen, and Donnie; and her sisters, Ella Ruth, Augustine, and Emmogene.
Pauline was a woman of faith. She will be missed by many but never forgotten.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral center. Pastor Larry Newsome will officiate. Interment will follow at Crownhill Cemetery, in Amherst.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the funeral home will be following specific guidelines to ensure the safety of all visitors. We ask that you enter through our main entrance of the funeral center, please pay your respects to the family, and exit through our gathering center door. Face coverings are required, limited seating will be provided for the service to ensure that a six feet separation is maintained.
