Pearl was born on October 24, 1934, in West Virginia to Lewis Ruben and Mary Atta (née Wilcoxen) Schwartz. She made Lorain her home for the past 70 years, building a life rooted in love, family, and community.

In her leisure time, Pearl found joy in simple pleasures—cooking for those she loved, crocheting, reading, playing cards, and sharing laughs at Bingo. Her life was a rich tapestry of devotion, generosity, and resilience.
She is survived by her loving children, David A. (Verna) Pullins of Lorain and Janet Lynn (Stanley) Tobicash of Vermilion; several cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother, Lewis Schwartz Jr.; and her sister, Diane McGuire.
Pearl was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Melvin; sons, Jack C. Pullins and Kenneth R. Pullins; daughter, Edith Kay Stanley; brother, George Schwartz; sister, Mae Pullins; and her parents, Lewis and Mary Schwartz.
