Quinet "Mitch" Mitchell's Obituary
Quinet “Mitch” Mitchell
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Quinet Mitchell, 56, on February 21, 2025 in North Ridgeville, Ohio.
Mitch was born to Eileen Mitchell on May 22, 1968. He believed heavily in the power of family and dedicated his life to filling ours with love, joy and laughter. Mitch was a devoted partner to Tina Clark and devoted father to Amber (Gary Adkins, Jr.) Mitchell-Adkins, Amanda “Charlie” (Amber) Harrison and DJ Mitchell. It was Mitch’s seven grandchildren, Lulu, Gavin, Harlow, Paisley, Piper, Charlotte and Keegan that gave him the most cherished title - “Pappy”. He is the adored brother of John (Lori) Born, Doug (Linda) Born and Deanie (Frank) Shukait. Mitch was also the beloved Uncle to Matt, Lynne (Keith), Rachel, Hannah, Erin (Josh), Megan (Ed), Mark, Stephanie (Taylor) and Thomas and Great Uncle to Cecilia, Delilah, Mason, Winter, Julian and James.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eileen Mitchell, grandparents, Geraldine & John F. Mitchell, sister, Loretta Rositano and niece, Lisa Born.
Mitch was a man of many talents. His love of marine life led to multiple published works throughout his career and fishing remained a hobby that he shared with his loved ones. He had an affinity for animals. He is a graduate of Admiral King High School.
Mitch will remain very much alive in the hearts of his loving family – always together, just a little different.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 28th, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of his funeral service at 1:00 pm at Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst.
