Rachel Elizabeth Deisler's Obituary
Rachel Elizabeth Deisler, 41, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 31, 1984, in Westlake, Ohio, Rachel was the cherished daughter of Bob and Barbara (née Baker) Deisler. She was a 2003 graduate of Marion L. Steel High School and continued her education with dedication and passion, earning her bachelor’s degree in education through Lorain County Community College and Ashland University.
Rachel devoted 15 years of her life to teaching, touching the hearts and minds of countless students throughout her career. Most recently, she was employed by ACCEL Schools for nurturing young learners and found great joy in helping others grow and succeed.
A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst, Rachel lived her life grounded in faith, kindness, and service
Above all, Rachel’s greatest joy and proudest accomplishment were her two beloved sons, Ethan and Andrew Ray. They were her world, and everything she did was centered around their happiness and well-being. She treasured every moment spent with them.
Rachel had a vibrant personality and a wonderful sense of humor. She loved spending time with her sister, her fun and much-enjoyed Dollar Tree hunts for deals, and playing games with family. She enjoyed trips to Cedar Point, relaxing days at the beach, and cozy evenings binging Lifetime movies. Rachel enthusiastically enjoyed cheering on the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cleveland Guardians with her boys.
She will be remembered for her warmth, laughter, devotion to her family, and the love she shared so freely.
Rachel is survived by her loving sons, Ethan and Andrew Ray; her parents, Bob and Barbara Deisler; her brother, Joshua (Amanda) Deisler; her sister, Robin Deisler; and her cherished niece, Maggie Deisler.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St. Joseph Drive, Amherst, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 11:30 a.m. at church. Rev. Father Timothy O’Connor, Pastor, will officiate. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Amherst.
