Ray N. Solak's Obituary
Ray N. Solak, age 82, of Lorain, passed away after a brief illness on Friday, January 4, 2019, at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain.
He was born on March 4, 1936 in Lorain, where he has lived his entire life. He is a graduate of Lorain High School as well as the Lorain Business College. Ray also attended Ohio State University for a point in time. He retired from US Steel, where he worked for over 30 years within the production planning division and is a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Lorain. Ray enjoyed sports in general, working on his crossword puzzles, and playing BINGO.
He is survived by his son, Steve M. Dorsz, of Lorain, and his brother, Richard. He was preceded in death by his parents; John and Victoria (nee Maijka) Solak.
