Father Martello was missed the day he retired. Unfortunately St Joseph was left with a poor leader, and pastor. God Bless you Fr. Martello, I'm sorry that your 25 years of hard work at St. Joseph was ruined in 1 year. Rest in peace.
Fr. Larry enriched our spiritual lives from the point that he invited us to attend Welcome Home, guided us through the annulment process, and asked us to serve in the Couple to Couple ministry 31 years ago. Aside from his spiritual leadership, we had a lot of fun doing a great many activities, especially with his dry sense of humor. Our prayers are with family and friends. And I’m sure that God has said, “job well done my faithful servant”.

Father Larry was a very understanding Priest. He was Priest that care for his congregation.
Father Larry would express gratitude and say, "Thank you", whenever he would see me doing sacristan duties, I remember his wonderful sense of humor. Once when I asked him what I should do with a cane that had been left behind in the chapel, he threw up his arms and exclaimed, "I can walk, I can walk!". Rest in Peace, dear Father Larry.
