Those big family events were so special and Richard made them even more special with his great sense of humor and that smile! I remember Richard always having a beautiful big smile on his face. When I was twelve he had just gotten drafted to Viet Nam. We were all so worried about him. I saw him as bigger than life, he was our families super hero! We did not see each other often but at family gatherings, weddings and reunions he was always the first to come over to say hello. He was so caring always asking about the family, the kids and remembering so many details! Very genuine, very caring. My deepest condolences to the family . He will truly be missed.
