Bob was a social worker at Lorain Community Hospital when I worked there he was a team leader on the in pt psych unit .He had a gentile easy going spirt . His teams motto was to love the pts they worked with back to life. I was so sorry to hearv about Bobs passing he cared and that made a difference in so many lifes R.I P .Bob

Diane and I were so sorry to read of Bob's passing. We had some great times playing softball and couples' volleyball with Bob and Maureen many years ago. Rest assured, Maureen, I will keep Bob, you, Laura and your family in my prayers. God bless you all.

When I think of Bob. I see a smile and remember such an easygoing approach. Haven’t seen the Fakkensteins since retirement but memoria are vice for both Maureen and Bob. God bless the family and love to Maureen
Picture this: the first Saturday immediately following Christmas day, 1966–1970… on a snowy football practice field, Kenyon College, Gambier, Ohio - - two very loosely organized teams of recent Mt. Vernon High (“Class of ‘65”) alumni boys playing “FalkenBall”, our version of Two-Hand Touch 🏈 Football… back then, Bob L O V E D contact gridiron contests…(Whenever the designed intent of “I hit you with BOTH my hands, so you’re DOWN - down RIGHT ‘H E R E’!!!!” Wasn’t accepted by the runner, the debate, teasing, and MOST OF ALL THE LAUGHTER came from everyone there, ESPECIALLY BOB‼️💕… Now, Bob, play on with your everlasting enthusiasm, as you continue to eternally progress…
My condolences to Maureen and family. I played a lot of softball with Bob many years ago. He was a great competitor and a good friend. I'm really sorry to hear of his passing. My one regret was not getting together with him over the past years. We always had a great time of sharing stories of the good old days. Rest in Peace Bob.
