Robert Wade Johnson's Obituary
Robert “Rob” Wade Johnson, age 44, of Amherst, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at his home.
Born on May 3, 1970 in Jacksonville, Arkansas, Rob grew up in Amherst and graduated from Amherst Steele High School in 1988. He attended ITT Tech and earned two associates degrees, one in electrical engineering and the other in mechanical engineering.
For the past 7 years, Rob worked at Enga Engineered Air in Cleveland as an engineer and also doing inside sales. Prior to that, he worked several years at RSI in Cleveland.
He is survived by his parents, Larry and Oleta (nee Hoover) and his sister, April Ann Johnson, all of Amherst.
Rob was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Okey and Garnett Hoover and his paternal grandparents, Dana and Edith Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst handled the arrangements.
