Robert Lesko's Obituary
Robert A. Lesko, 52, of Amherst, died on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at The Cleveland Clinic following a 9 year battle with leukemia.
He was born on November 20, 1956 in Lorain, Ohio. He graduated from Marion L. Steele High School in 1975.
He worked as a lab technician at PolyOne Corporation in Avon Lake.
An avid Cleveland sports fan, Bob enjoyed watching the Indians, Browns and Cavaliers. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He also spent time golfing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Angelita (nee Mendiola); 2 sons , James Summers and Aaron Lesko; a daughter, Evangeline Lesko, all of Amherst; 2 grandchildren; father & step-mother, Joseph and Altha Lesko, of Amherst; his sister, Sheila Trifiletti, of Amherst, 2 step-sisters, Kathy Parker, of Avon Lake and Lynn Kitko of Mantua, OH, and a step-brother, Dan McNutt, of Vale, Colorado. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Teresa Lesko, of Sheffield Lake.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Madeline in 1973 and his brother, Joseph in 2006.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Deacon Edgar Gonzalez of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
