Robert L. Morrison's Obituary
Robert L. Morrison, age 77, of Lorain, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, following a brief illness.
Born on April 11, 1948, in Louisville, Kentucky, Robert was the son of the late Chester and Lois (nee Floyd) Morrison. He dedicated his professional life to caring for others as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Mercy Hospital in Lorain, a position he held with dedication until his retirement in 2014.
Robert was a proud and passionate supporter of Cleveland sports, especially the Guardians and the Cavaliers. In his free time, he found joy in woodworking—crafting a variety of objects with care and creativity. He also loved to travel, exploring new places and experiences with those he held dear.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, MaryLou (nee Solomon) Morrison; his daughter, Jessica (Chad) Catrucco; stepdaughter, April (Manfred) Kramp; grandchildren, Faith and Maya Catrucco, Tiffany, Alyssa, and Matthew Bragg, and Chad and Noah Miller; great-granddaughter, A. Kuhn; and brother-in-law, Ronald Solomon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson, Larry Miller.
Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. A memorial service celebrating Robert’s life will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral center.
