I lost a dear friend on Saturday afternoon. Bob and I have been friends for over 33 years, and we were closer than my own brother. We shared a lot of good times together.
He helped raise two beautiful daughters, a neice and two nephews, and even though times sometimes got rough, he didn't complain, or at least not too much. Bob was the kind of person that would give you anything if you needed it, and sometimes even if you didn't need it. That was who Bob was. He could do almost anything and would help anyone.
HIs passion in later years was computers. Even though I didn't understand all that technical stuff, he did. He could take one apart and make it better in no time.
After his first wife DeDe passed, the good Lord put another great person in his life to help him carry on. Sherry has been his support for the last few years, and he loved her dearly.
I am finding it very hard to express how much I will miss my friend. Even though we were 500 miles apart, we spent a lot of time on the phone, talking about our families and our hobbies.
I will ask that the good Lord take you and keep you my friend. Try and not give him too much trouble
I Love You my Friend
