Robin Slone's Obituary
Robin L. Slone (nee Porter), age 55, of Lagrange passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake after a lengthy battle with Huntington's Disease.
She was born on August 13, 1957 in Lakewood, Ohio to the late Richard and Audrey (nee Kryz) Porter and was a 1975 graduate of Elyria West High School.
Robin was a homemaker and for many years she and her husband were very involved in Children's Ministry. She loved gardening, tanning and working out.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jeffrey Slone; daughters, Brittany Slone and Ashdon Slone, both of Lagrange; father-in-law, Nelson Slone.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
The Slone family will receive friends on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 10:00 – 12:00 noon in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 12:00 noon in the funeral center. Interment will then follow the service at River Road Cemetery, in Lagrange. Services will be officiated by Shawn Cleveland.
