Ronald M. Brletic's Obituary
Ronald M. Brletic, age 69, of Lorain passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Mercy New Life Hospice.
He was born on February 27, 1947 in Lorain, Ohio to Matthew and Marcella (nee Reis) Brletic and graduated from Admiral King High School in 1967. Upon his graduation he enlisted with the United States Army and was honorably discharged on July 10, 1970.
Ronald worked on the assembly line at Ford Motor Company, retiring in 1996 after 20 years of service. After his retirement he made the decision to begin a new career starting his own business Modern Improvement Siding & Windows.
He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, traveling to Las Vegas, and following the Cleveland Professional Sport teams. He loved being referred to as “Ronaldo” and his family was his main focus. He loved and adored them and would do anything for them.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (nee Cerveniak); his son, Ronald Brletic, of Lorain; daughters, Becky (John) Medina, of Lancaster, CA, and Tracy Conrady, of Lorain; step-son, Jonathan (Brittany) Brandt, of Lorain, and Corey Puza, of Lorain; grandchildren, Sarah Overstreet, Austin Conrady, Ariana Medina, Jaden Medina, and Hannah Brletic; step-granddaughter, Adyson Brandt; and his sisters, Pamela (Sal) Prieto, Of Amherst, Nancy (Victor) Balest, of Medina, and Karen Brletic, of Lorain.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Marcella Brletic.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 12th. at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral center. Rev. Father Daniel Divis, Pastor of St. Mary’s Church, will officiate. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
