Ron was one of my closest friends while stationed at Eglin AFB. A great guy who added so much to my life. I was deeply saddened to hear of hear of his passing. Ron was the last person I saw on the day I was discharged on June 19. 1970 and still the fond memories persist. God bless you Arnold (the nickname I gave him after Arnold Palmer).

We attened college with Ron's sister Vicki (Knapp) Shepard and are still close friends with Vicki and Bill.

Ron and his sister Vicki were among my friends growing up in New London, OH. I still have many fond memories of the gang gathering at their home Sunday afternoons to watch the Cleveland Browns games. It was a wonder time of our young lives. God speed Ron and God take care of his family. Tony Denslow, Elyria.
Sending prayers of comfort to his family. I remember Ronnie growing up in New London. I was quite a bit younger but he was a friend of my brother Bob Cooke. I do remember when they won the ABC bowling tournament. He was a great guy❤️🙏
