ROSE MARIE BRANIM's Obituary
Rose Marie Branim, 81, of Elyria, OH, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on June 27, 1944, in Amherst, OH, Rose was the daughter of the late Julius and Emigene (née Evans) Harsar. She attended Lorain High School and was a resident of Lorain for 34 years. She called Elyria, Ohio home for over 43 years of her life and briefly lived in Tennessee.
Rose had a gift for making a house feel like home. Her warmth, humor, and steady presence will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her sons, James Branim of Jamestown, TN, and Albert Branim of Amherst, OH; daughters, Tina Celestino of Elyria, OH, and Dawn Corcino of Lorain, OH; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; her brother, Richard Harsar of Oberlin, OH; and her sister, Penny Lynn of Lorain, OH. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Ross Branim; her sister, Betty; and her daughters, April and Susan.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 4–7 PM at Dovin & Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center.
