Rosemarie Martinez's Obituary
Rosemarie Francis Webber Martinez, age 71, was called to her eternal life in Heaven on Sunday, December 4, 2022. Rosemarie was a life long resident of Lorain graduated from Lorain High School in 1969. She had a great love and passion for life, animals (especially Scottish Terrier dogs, rabbits, and exotic birds), cooking, shopping and her family. She also loved the outdoors, nature, walking, flowers, traveling and visiting local places like Amish Country.
Rosemarie had various jobs during her young life, ranging from a teacher's aide to a PC assembler at Lorain Products, where she met her future husband, Eli Martinez. They were married on August 27, 1976. She later gave birth to her two children, Elizabeth and Raymond, and was a devoted and loving mother to them.
Rosemarie also spent 10 years working at Lorain Super K-Mart in the Deli department until the store closed in 2016. During her time at K-Mart, she made a lasting positive impression on many lives with her kind nature and relatable humor.
She eventually went on to start her own business, The Bird Haven, where she hand-raised cockatiels, finches, and parakeets.
Rosemarie also possessed immense creative talent and spent much time making various crafts before discovering her true passion for cake decorating. She soon started a small cake business from home and joyously made every kind of delicious cake one could imagine.
Rose was a long time lover of folk music, especially The Irish Rovers. She also loved musicians such as Freddie and the Dreamers, The Beatles, and many more.
Rosemarie shares an incredible, unbreakable bond with her children, Raymond and Elizabeth, and husband Eli; she also has a cherished younger sister, Madelyn Braunagel, of Arkansas.
Her family will miss her dearly and keep her memory burning bright until they are reunited in the eternal Kingdom of God.
Rosemarie is preceded in her journey to Heaven by her beloved parents Raymond Webber and Rose Erdos Webber, and grandparents Charles and Rose Nemeth Erdos.
The family will be holding a private memorial at a later date to honor Rosemarie.
Let our everlasting love connect us from Heaven to Earth... until we meet again.
