Rosemary Gonzalez Corral's Obituary
Rosemary Gonzalez Corral, age 70, of Lorain, passed away at her home peacefully while under the care of New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph.
She was born on May 9, 1948 in Lorain. She resided in Texas while working as an STNA at Snyder Oaks Nursing Home for many years. She was also a laundry attendant at the John Peter Smith Hospital, which is also in Texas.
Rosemary was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel. She enjoyed her time spent with family and helping others. She was very young at heart and was proud to stay up with the current fashion trends. She also enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, coloring, and listening to music.
She is survived by her children; Mary Lou (Jessie Harris) Davila-Brown, Lucilla (John) Yira, Roberto Davila, and Ricky (Dorin) Davila, her 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and her siblings; Laura Vasquez, Nereida Fontonez, Freddie, Daisy, Francisco Jr. (Damarita) Gonzalez, Roberto (Iris) Gonzalez, Henry (Carmen) Gonzalez, David (Edwina) Gonzalez, and Johnny Gonzalez.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; Francisco and Lucilla Gonzalez, sisters; Ana Maria Castro, Frances Gonzalez, Valentina Gonzalez, and a brother, Lewis Gonzalez.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 8, 2018, from 10:30 am until the time of her memorial service at 12:30 pm., at the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst.
