Roy D. McDaniel's Obituary
Roy D. McDaniel, age 55, of Elyria, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at New Life Hospice Residential Center following a lengthy illness.
Born on November 19, 1959 in Cleveland, Roy grew up in North Ridgeville.
For 12 years, he worked at RJ Heating and Cooling in Cleveland.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and listening to music, especially the Rolling Stones. Roy had a great sense of humor and always made people feel at ease.
He is survived by his daughters, Stacey McDaniel, Ashley McDaniel, and Angie Bell; his mother, Joan Cramer; 7 grandchildren; his sisters, Evelyn (Ron) Cesadice, Celeste (William) Oden, Yvonne (Ron Perry) McDaniel, and Sharon Boothe; his fiancé, Lori Pfaff, a step-daughter, Connie McDavid and one step-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy L. and his brother, Todd.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst, handled the arrangements.
