Russell schmaltz used to farm our field. It seems like yesterday to me. He was a sbig strong strapping farmer.
Driving with huge tractors that plowed and planted the fields.
I also remember as he used to sit in our field and wait to shoot the groundhogs so they would not destroy the crops.
Russell was a big man in many ways.

So many wonderful memories from my childhood. He was a wonderful man who always took the time to teach, make you laugh and knew what hard work was. Deepest sympathy to the entire family.
