I had no idea about Ruth's passing until today...I knew her throughout my childhood and beyond. When I was a kid I thought she was about the funniest, coolest adult I had ever met. I remember wishing many times that she was my mom! There was never a dull moment when she was around. I don't remember a time when she wasn't cracking a joke or sharing a laugh with everyone around her. Truly a ray of sunshine.

Please let me express my deepest sympathy with the loss of your mom.
Even though I have not seen her over 25 years I was still saddened by the news of her passing.
I chuckled to myself cuz I still remember that when I would call you and talk with your mom she would always end the conversation not with good bye but with "good day" or something similar to that.
Please also express my condolences to your family as well.

Len. So very sorry to hear of your loss. I share your grief at losing your first "special lady". Odd that both of us had very unique relationships with our mothers, we both had all girls, we share the same birthday, and we both ended up in the same business. :-)

Aunt Ruth was the picture of optimism. Encouraging you in whatever the circumstance you would share with her. With a laughter that was all her own, we would joke about being fine and everything being just fine when we'd meet. The sadness felt by her passing will be felt for a long time. To Uncle Leonard, Leonard, Brenda, and Elaine, we share in your pain the void left by this lovely lady, wife and mother, but the memories of her will live on as we speak of her often and never forget what she meant to each of us.
