Ruth M. Sarby's Obituary
Ruth M. Sarby (nee Hutton), passed away peacefully on Sunday, January19th, 2025 at Amherst Manor, Amherst.
Ruth was born on May 17, 1936 in Amherst, OH. Ruth graduated from Amherst High School in 1954, the last class to do so before Marion Steele High School. Ruth raised her 4 daughters, Phyllis Jones, Pam Clayton, Pat Szczepanski and Amy Welch. Her parents, Foster & Virginia Hutton preceded her in death. Ruth has 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Once her children were established in school, she became a school secretary, attorney secretary and church secretary.
Ruth devoted her life to her husband, Robert Sarby, for 49 years of being happily married. She was an excellent cook. She enjoyed 22 years in Vero Beach, FL. My true Friend and Lover, Ruth, will be missed. We know she in in the hands of our loving God.
