Sabrina Noelle DuPrey's Obituary
Sabrina Noelle DuPrey, age 17, of Bay Village passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021. She was born on December 18, 2003 in Lakewood, Ohio to Christopher DuPrey and Kristin Winiasz-DuPrey.
Sabrina was a junior at Bay Village High School where she was a member of the Marching Band, Symphonic Band, A Capella Choir, Show Choir, and the Swim Team. She was a straight A honor student and especially loved her history and science classes. She enjoyed playing the flute, piano and learning the guitar. Sabrina would fill the home with music and dance. She started ballet classes (3 years old) then when she was 5 she decided she preferred Irish dance and entertained us with her Irish dance for 9 years. She was a little fish since the day she was born and loved being in the water constantly.
Her first “job” was helping out at the Nature Center, she had a gift with younger kids. She then assisted her fellow young Irish dancers in class, baby sat (kids and dogs), scooped ice cream and even was as successful caddy.
She enjoyed paddle boarding, skiing, family vacations, boating in Michigan, traveling with her friends, jewelry making, painting and thrifting for treasures. She loved decorating her bedroom. She enjoyed listening to music and concert going. Some of her favorites: she loved the Beatles, ELO, Queen, Strokes, Luna Luna, Clairo. She also loved playing with and walking her dog Loki.
Sabrina loved her family and friends and was so kind to everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by all who knew here and will be remembered for her beautiful spirit, playful personality, beautiful eyes, compassion, and humanity. A true beam of light, our Christmas angel.
Sabrina is survived by her parents, Christopher and Kristin DuPrey; brother, Michael; grandparents, Eileen Winiasz, Mike Winiasz, Carole Nettle (nee DuPrey), Maj.
