Sam L. Romano's Obituary
Sam L. Romano, age 62, of Brunswick passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake.
He was born on August 15, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio to Sam and Doris (nee Innocenzi) Romano and graduated from Bedford High School.
Sam made his career as a Patrolman with the Cleveland Police Department, retiring in 1990.
He loved spending his time hunting and fishing and enjoyed watching and cheering on all of the Cleveland professional sport teams.
Sam is survived by his wife of 15 years, Patricia (nee Dugan); daughter, Venessa (Dwayne Johnson) Romano; step-son, Joey (Michelle) Tomasi; grandchildren, Shay, Gwyn and Jeremy; step-grandchildren, Ryan, Sarah and Emily; sisters, Kathryn Giganti and Cynthia (Joe) Quarrick.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Doris Romano.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at his daughter Venessa’s home, 4580 E. 49th. Street, Cuyahoga Hts., OH 44125.
