Sandra M. Foos' Obituary
Sandra M. Foos, age 64, of Amherst passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at her home under the care of the Cleveland Clinic Hospice.
She was born on October 2, 1951 in Lorain, Ohio to Milton A. and Thelmadale Marquita Schieferstein. Sandra graduated from Amherst High School in 1970 and from Ashland University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 1985.
Sandra made her career as an accountant and established Sandy’s Tax Service in 1978. She retired in 2013.
She enjoyed cross stitching, loved to travel, and especially loved her dogs. She and her husband, Richard, traveled the world.
Sandra will be greatly missed for her kindness and compassion that she shared with everyone she met. She was instrumental with helping others to establish their own businesses.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Richard Foos; her son, Richard C. Foos, of Avon; nephew, David Simko, of Slidell, LA; and her daughter, Sonia Ceja-Alvarez, of Elyria;
Private family funeral services were held under the direction of the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst.
The family suggest contributions be made in memory of Sandra to the Cleveland Clinic Hospice at Home, PO Box 931517, Cleveland, OH 44193-1665.
