Sandra Loterbaugh's Obituary
Sandra M. Loterbaugh, age 62, of Amherst, died on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at The Cleveland Clinic, following a seven month illness.
She was born on November 9, 1947 in Erie, Pennsylvania. She grew up in Altoona, graduating from Altoona High School in 1965. After high school, her family moved to Elyria. She has resided in Lorain County ever since.
For over 27 years she worked at Rebman Recreational Facility in Lorain. She worked in the snack bar at the bowling alley, and also as an attendant at On the Avenue, Rebman’s Banquet Center.
She enjoyed collecting Disney collectibles and Longaberger baskets.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ronald E.; her son, Jacob and daughter, Leah, both at home; a brother, John (Sandy) Davis, of Wellington; and nieces, Jessica (Mike) Kostalnick and Megan Davis,a nephew, Matthew Davis and one great nephew, Michael John Kostalnick.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Gertrude (nee Wolf) Davis.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 14th from 4-8 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst. Rev. Chris LaLonde, pastor of Faith United Methodist Church, Lorain, will officiate. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral center. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
