Sarah Antochow's Obituary
Sarah Anne Antochow, age 65, of Amherst passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017.
She was born on January 14, 1952 in Chester County, PA to John and Phyllis (nee Cassler) Nees.
Sarah graduated from The Ohio State University in 1974 with a degree in Special Education. Sarah served as a family service coordinator for Our Lady of the Wayside for almost 30 years.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Joseph; daughters, Jannette Antochow of Lakewood, and Elizabeth Hennessy (James) of Elyria; grandchildren, Raina, Izabella, and Shamus (arriving soon); sisters, Diane (Bob) Stitt, and Susanne (David) Stubbs; brothers, Tom, John F. (Louise), David (Brenda), and Michael (fiancée Ann Marie).
She is preceded in death by her sister, Catherine (Currie) Wartman.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 25th 2017 from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral and Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst OH 44001. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 26th at 10:00 am in the funeral center. Rev. Father John Retar will be officiating. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
