Sheila Zadekas' Obituary
Sheila Zadekas, age 51, a lifelong resident of Lorain passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Fairview Hospital.
She was born on June 8, 1967 in Lorain, Ohio to James J. and Virginia (nee Kucia) Zadekas. Sheila graduated from Lorain Catholic High School in 1985. Sheila began working at Sears Department store as a Sales Associate at the age of 16 and continued to make her career there until its closing.
Sheila had a great love forher pets and all animals, gardening and the outdoors. She loved gathering with her friends. She will always be remembered for her kind and generous heart.
She is survived by her fiancé, Ken Majoras; aunts, Karol Kucia, and Ruth Bradley; uncle, Donald Kucia; and several cousins.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, James and Virgina Zadekas; and her aunts, Patricia Kiskin, and June Uehlein.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:30 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, Ohio. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral center.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions be made in memory of Sheila to the Friendship Animal Protective League of Lorain County, 8303 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria, OH 44035.
