Shirley Shenosky's Obituary
Shirley Ann Shenosky, age 90 of Sheffield Lake passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at her home under the care of New Life Hospice.
She was born on April 14, 1926 in Hazelton, PA to Elmer and Bernice (nee McNally) Leonard and graduated from Hazelton High School in 1944.
Shirley worked for many years at Shoreway Lanes in Sheffield Lake babysitting for the children in the childcare center.
She enjoyed Ball Room Dancing, bowling, roller skating, camping, picnics, drive-in movies, swimming, reading and working cross word puzzles and she loved playing bingo.
Shirley is survived by he son, Mark (Christine) Shenosky, of Sheffield Lake; daughter, Linda (Mark) Goodell, of Sheffield Lake; grandchildren, Scott, Brandie and Mark Shenosky, of Los Angeles, CA and Raymond (Brandy Peck) Liebenguth and Mathew Liebenguth, both of Lorain;great-grandchildren, Scott, Paulina, Cynthia, Wynter and Ireland Shenosky and Trestan and Charlotte Liebenguth; great-great-granddaughter, Olivia; brothers, Norbert Leonard, of Virginia and Bruce (Linda) Leonard, of Nevada.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Peter Shenosky, in 1989; parents, Elmer and Bernice Leonard; and brothers, John and Neil.
Private family funeral services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center.
