Shirley A. Yarmock's Obituary
Shirley Yarmock (nee:Caroniti) 89, resident of South Amherst, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024, following a life filled with love and family.
She was born September 24, 1934 in Penfield to Ross and Helen Caroniti and was a 1952 graduate of Penfield High School. She married George Yarmock November 29, 1952. She was a member of Nativity BVM Catholic Church in South Amherst. Shirley worked at South Amherst High School for 38 Years retiring as head cook. She loved shopping, cooking, dancing, dogs and traveling with her husband.
Survivors include her daughter Michele (Doug) Jordan, son Kevin Yarmock and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Yarmock; her sisters Virginia Wargo, Dorothy Rossman, Mary Rybarcyk, brother Gene Caroniti and daughter in law Sue Yarmock.
Funeral services were held privately under the direction of the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral &Cremation Center. The family requests prayers for Shirley"s trip and encourages everyone to hug someone today.
The family suggests contributions be made in Shirley's honor to Friendship Animal Protective League, 8303 Murray Ridge Rd. Elyria, Oh 44035.
