Butchko Family, I was saddened to hear of Sid's passing. Our prayers are with all of you. My fondest memories of your entire family is all the family reunions you hosted! They were such fun and so competitive! Truly a bunch of great athletes. That was so much work for you to host year after year but it was a time truly cherished. Thank you. Sid was so upbeat the last time we saw him at my Mom's Memorial Service in Vermilion in 2010. That is how I will always remember him with that great smile and charming personality. He had to have both to be married to beautiful Carol for 48 years! God is getting a great one on his side! Our love and prayers are with you during this time of loss. Kathy Masin & Ken Larson
To the Butchko family,
Our deepest sympathy goes out to you, Carol and family. We have fond memories. Sid always had a smile on his face no matter how he felt.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

I was so sorry to hear of Sid's passing. It is a blessing now that I had the chance to visit with him recently. He was such a nice, faith-filled man, and I will remember him fondly, always. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Carol, and your family at this difficult time. May it help to know that others loved him and share in your loss.

To Carol and family-I have so many fond memories of all the fun times our families-the Butchkos and the Masins ,had together when we were growing -up. We camped, fished, swam, had clam bakes in Uncle Paul and Aunt Sue's back yard.Sid was a great cousin and always made me laugh. I remember his love of animals, and he took care of many in his back yard.I know he will be greatly missed, but with the help of God ,family and friends, you and your children will have wonderful memories to help you thru this sad time. You are all in my heart and I send my love.

I was saddened to hear of Sidneys death. Sidney was a close childhood friend and he and I would pal around when I visited my grandmother Rose Monaco in the summers from the 1950's through the 60's. We once built a tree-house together in his backyard-it was quite a project and took most of my summer visit.
Sidney was like Huckleberry Finn-he was adventuresome, and curious. He was also a tremendous athlete. I will always remember those wonderful summers with Sidney and the generous and kind Butchko family.
Please accept my most sincere condolences. I feel a part of me now feels incomplete with his loss.
Respectfully,
Dr. William (Billy) Monaco
