Steve Bialko's Obituary
Steve Bialko, age 71, of Amherst, Ohio, passed away on July 11, 2025, after a lengthy illness. He was born on June 30, 1954, in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania to the late Stephen Bialko Sr. and Arlene (née Ralko) Bialko.
Steve retired from TJ Maxx as a District Manager, concluding a dedicated 30 plus year career in retail management.
In his younger years, he enjoyed rifle competitions at Camp Perry, pistol shooting, and target practice. He cherished life’s simple pleasures, from long car rides for ice cream and visits to Amish country to cheering on his beloved Cleveland Browns — often to a fault. Steve loved cooking for his family, barbecuing, and sharing good meals. He also treasured time spent at the family cabin in Tidioute, PA, and vacations to Charleston, SC, and Maine.
Steve’s passion for sports cars, football, animals, and good food was matched only by his devotion to helping others. He was known for being extremely reliable and always willing to lend a hand.
Steve is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Bialko; his sons, Chris (Olha) and Alex (Jenna) Bialko; his cherished grandchildren, Marta and Sofiya; and faithful canine companions Brownie and Bear.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 3–7 PM at Dovin & Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd, Amherst, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St. Joseph Dr., Amherst, OH 44001. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
