Susan Elizabeth Burich's Obituary
Susan Elizabeth Burich (nee Maloney), age 77, of Sheffield Village passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Northridge Health Center in North Ridgeville, Ohio.
She was born June 13, 1945 in Lorain, Ohio to George and Dorothy (nee Czarney) Maloney. She attended Nativity B.V. M. for elementary school, graduated from Lorain Admiral King High School in 1962 and received her Associates Degree in Business Cum Laude from Lorain County Community College in 1985.
Susan was a member of Nativity B.V. M. Catholic Church. She made her career in the medical field as a supervisor and medical transcriber from 1965 until her retirement in 2005. She was selfless, always putting the needs of friends and family in front of her own despite her own infirmities. She was extremely proud of her 54 years of marriage, her 3 children, and her countless friends and family that she cherished deeply.
She is survived by her husband and life partner of 54 years, Kenneth; 3 sons, Christopher (Shannon) of Westlake, Eric (Yoli) of Lorain, and Ryan (Teri) of Lorain; grandchildren, Shane, Brooke, Katelyn, of Westlake, Ethan and Owen, of Lorain, and Arianna and Alexa of Lorain; great-grandchild, Madden, of Lorain; sister, Ginny (Brad) Hawes, of Vermilion; brother, Larry (Sharon) Maloney, of Avon Lake; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy Maloney; and her brother, John Maloney.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Northridge Health Center, especially Heather, for the exceptional care and kindness that was given to Susan while she was there.

Family and Friends will be received on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 3rd at a time to be announced in the funeral center. Rev. Father Craig Hovanec will officiate. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
