Sylvia Marie Jaworski's Obituary
Sylvia Marie Jaworski, age 96, of Lorain passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022 at St. Mary of the Woods, in Avon. She was born on June 28, 1926 in Lorain, Ohio to Silvester and Mary Zajkowski and was a graduate of Lorain High School.
She worked as a secretary at US Steel prior to marrying her husband, Daniel. was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst, Ohio. She enjoyed cooking, taking care of her home and bowling. Her family was life.
Sylvia is survived by her daughter, Susan Jaworski, of Avon Lake; son, Daniel Jaworski, of Woodlands, Texas; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Jaworski, and David Jaworski.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Jaworski; daughter, Marilyn McGaffin; parents, Silvester, and Mary Zajkowski; and her sisters. Anna L. Siennicki, Lucy Szmania, Martha Sobieski, and Theresa Michalski.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St. Joseph Drive, Amherst. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Father Timothy O’Connor, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
