Tamika Prestamo's Obituary
Tamika Prestamo, age 36, of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 4, 2017.
She was born on May 28, 1981, in Elyria, and lived most of her life in Lorain. Her favorite time though, was when she lived in Chicago, where she proudly called “home” for 8 years.
Tamika attended Lorain County Community College as well as the Chicago Institute of Design. She truly loved what she did as far as work goes, so much, that her work was her passion and hobby. She worked in fashion and design for numerous high-end retail stores, even managing at some. She was also a very talented make-up artist.
She will be dearly missed by her son, Donovan, her mother, Tammy M. Potts, father, Angel Luis Prestamo, sister, Amanda Potts, brother, Markkus Prestamo, step-sisters; Ashley and Darcel Wilson, and step-brother, Joseph Wilson, Jr. Tamika is also survived by her aunts and uncles, especially Deborah Bullins and Walter “Jake” Potts, and her cousins.
She was preceded in death by her infant set of twins, a daughter, her step-father, Joseph Wilson, her aunt, Denise Potts, and all of her grandparents.
A celebration of Tamika’s life will be held at her mother, Tammy’s, home, on Saturday, May 13th, at 2:00 pm. The Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, is assisting the family.
