Tammy L. Strausser's Obituary
Tammy L. Strausser, age 43, of Westlake went home to be the Lord on Wednesday, December 16, 2015.
She was born on November 12, 1972 in Idaho Falls, Idaho and graduated from Admiral King High in Lorain in 1990. She served in the United States Air Force.
Tammy was employed as a mail carrier with the North Olmsted Post Office for many years.
She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was very proud of the fact that she trained hard to participate in a bicycle marathon that raised funds for the leukemia society. Tammy loved and lived her life to the fullest.
Tammy is survived by her parents, Charles “Chuck” and Karen (nee Kunaszewski) Strausser, of Lorain; brothers, Charlie (Regina) Strausser, of Lorain and Stan (Jennifer) Strausser, of Parma; grandmothers, Jayne Strausser, of Lorain and LaVina (Bill) Marks, of Wakeman.
She was met at the pearly gates by her grandfathers, Stanley Kunaszewski, in 1999 and Charles Strausser, in 2008.
The Strausser family will receive friends on Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rad, Amherst where funeral services will be held on Monday, December 21st. at 12:00 noon. Services will be conducted by Rev. Jim McKenzie. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
