Terence Robert "Terry" Wright's Obituary
Terence Robert “Terry” Wright, age 75, of Vermilion passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Mercy New Life Hospice Center.
He was born on July 15, 1942 in Glasgow, Scotland to Robert and Winifred Wright. He was a graduate of Lorain High School.
In 1962 Terry began working at Lorain Tool Enterprises. He became the President and owner of Lorain Tool Enterprises in 1990. He was a founding member of the Lochaber Pipe Band and was a member of the Vermilion Masonic Lodge.
Terry enjoyed going on cruises with his wife, Jean, several times a year he also loved just spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son, Scott (Kristy) Wright, of Vermilion; daughter, Elizabeth (Dan) Mayer, of Vermilion; grandchildren, Megan (Brandon) Hohman, Aubrey (Zach) Scholl, Zach (Brittany) Wright, Alex Wright, and Chris Wright; great-grandchildren, Brantley Scholl, Cora Scholl, Clara Hohman, Maren Wright, and soon to come twins; and his sister, Doreen (Dennis) Dull.
Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, in 2016; parents, Robert and Winifred; and his sister, Eileen Bremer.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April20, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, OH 44001. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21st. at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral center. Rev. Father Daniel Divis, Pastor of St. Mary’s Church, Lorain will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
