Terry J. Kish's Obituary
Terry J. Kish, age 66, of Lorain, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, October 16, 2022.
He was born on March 24, 1956 in Lorain and lived his entire life in the Lorain/Amherst area. He is a 1974 graduate of Admiral King High School where as a senior he was a Special Mention All-Ohio basketball player. After high school, he earned his degree from The Ohio State University in Horticulture and put it to good use while employed at Oberlin College for over 35 years.
Terry took great pride in watching his sons play high school and college football over the years. He loved growing and learning about plants and was always proud of his yard and garden. He enjoyed getting out for rounds of golf, traveling and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and his dogs.
He is survived by his children, Ryan (Jillian) Kish, of Littleton, CO; Brandon (Karly) Kish, of Fishers, IN; and Halle Kish, of Lorain; 2 grandchildren, Riley Kish & Penelope Kish (with another one on the way); his beloved companion, Robyn Davey; and his siblings, Karen Kish, of Rocky River and Timothy (Cathy) Kish, of Harker Heights, TX.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Robert S. and Laura J. (nee Stockard) Kish.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 12:00 -3 pm in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst.
