Theresa H. Anthony's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Theresa H Anthony, age 87, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026 at New Life Hospice. She will be remembered for her kindness, her strength and love for others.
Born September 8, 1938 in Cleveland, graduated from West Tech High School in 1956 and moved to Amherst in 1978. She worked at Elyria Hospital in Central Scheduling from 1975-1989 and then worked as a certified mental health tech at the Nord Center from 1990-2003 before retiring. In 1998 she became a certified painting instructor and taught painting classes until 2018.
Survived by her loving children, Jessica (Robert) Valek, Gregory (Cindy) Saultz, Michael Saultz and Ralph Saultz; grandchildren Joshua (Nicole) Hill, Jeremy Hill, Greg Saultz and Annabelle Saultz; great grandchildren Madilyn, Abigail, Joshua, Elizabeth, Payton and Fiona; and sister Carol Harrison. Aunt to Thomas Tinker, Kim Tinker, Karen Evans, John McNea, Patrick McNea, Theresa McNea, Neal McNea, Leonard Lucas and Jeff Lucas.
She is preceded in death by her parents John Duchon, Theresa Duchon-Pederson; sisters Elinor Hanna and Diana Craft.
The family kindly requests privacy during this difficult time. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
