Timothy Edward Wilson's Obituary
Timothy Edward Wilson, age 62, of Huron, passed away on December 9, 2016 at the Ames Family Hospice House, Westlake.
He was born on August 29, 1954 in Elyria. He was a 1973 graduate of Elyria High School. After graduation from High School, he obtained his Associate’s Degree of Science and his certificate of Proficiency and Machining Process training form Lorain County Community College. Then, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron. Finally he earned his Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Business Administration, from Tiffin University in 1999. Tim was employed at Nordson Corporation, for 31 years, as a project engineer. Previously, he worked for the National Aeronautic and Space Administration – Lewis Research Center.
He attended the Sandusky Community Church of the Nazarene. Tim was a member of the National Corvette Restorers Society, the Nordson Management Professional Club, as well as the Nordson Old Timers Club. He received many awards and had many accomplishments throughout his life, to include; 1996 Metpack Innovation Award, Chief Executive’s Award from Nordson Corporation, and received a Professional Engineer Registration with the State of Ohio. Amongst these, he was the proud achiever of numerous patents. With his free time, Tim enjoyed Corvettes, boating, especially sail boating, playing guitar, model trains, and motorcycles.
He will be missed dearly by his loving wife, Julee (nee Boswell), beloved children; Jessica (Robert) Sroka, of New London, Jacquelyn Westcott, of Huron, Janice (Michael) Smith, of Vermilion, and Jason (Amanda) Westcott, of Wakeman, grandchildren; Marandah, Audrey, and Evan Sroka, Brandon Williamson, Isaak Westcott, Dylan, Ellianna, Makenna, and Makayla Smith, and Bryce, Ethan, Carter, and Deklyn Westcott, his parents; Clifford I. and Mary Elaine (nee Hritcko) Wilson, his brother; Clifford E. (Melanie) Wilson, of Elyria Twp., a niece, Jessica (Jerry) Sen, of Elyria Twp, nephew, William Cody Wilson, of Elyria Twp., and his great niece, Josephine Sen.
Tim was preceded in death by his sister, Diedre Anne Wilson.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 17, from 10:00 am until the time of services at 12:00 pm, at the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. The Rev. David Flack will officiate.
